let's say artstars lisa and stan want to dream big and put on spectacular shows.... but they only have 2 dollars each. then they form a collective into which they monthly pay, oh... say 2 bucks. then whatever's in the collective pot is rotated. so one month stan will have a whopping 4 bucks to fulfill his wildest art supply dreams and then next month lisa will blow all that cash on hookers and cocaine (as are her usual expenditures).
now multiply the number of people and up the monthly fee a few pearls.... then what happens?

I saw this on Judge Alex, except it was a church group and the ex-boyfriend of one of the women in the group took the money and then never put money in. DRAMA!
